Dev Gavande

Director

Dev Gavande is a junior at Wakeland High School in the DFW area. As the founder of the Robotics Club, FTC co-captain, and a member of FRC, he is actively involved in STEM leadership and driven by a passion for robotics, entrepreneurship, and scientific discovery. His FTC team advanced to the World Championship, reaching the division semifinals and earning second place in the Think Award category in 2024, while his FRC team secured 3rd place in the divisional playoff games at Worlds in 2025. Outside of robotics, Dev has thrived in DECA, is the founder of his school's Robotics Club and Science Bowl Club, and completed the iStart Valley Summer Startup Internship. He is also a recipient of the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award. He has earned several awards in math and science competitions. Since seventh grade, he has been tutoring students in math and science. Now, as a member of the Youth Executive Committee, Dev is dedicated to giving back to the community and inspiring future innovators.
