Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the way we live, learn, and work — from voice assistants and self-driving cars to intelligent robots that think and respond like humans. The AI with Python Program invites middle school students to step into this fascinating world of technology through fun, hands-on coding and AI projects. Guided by expert mentors, students learn how intelligent systems make decisions — and how they can create their own! 

About the Program 

This 12-week program is specially designed for students in Grades 6–12 who are curious about technology and eager to explore the foundations of Artificial Intelligence and Python programming. Each session blends interactive lessons, coding labs, and real-world AI experiments — turning complex concepts into visual, engaging, and age-appropriate experiences that make learning exciting and rewarding. 

Key Learning Outcomes:
⦁ Master the fundamentals of Python programming 
⦁ Experiment with real-world AI tools like Teachable Machine, OpenCV, and Scikit-learn 
⦁ Create hands-on projects in Computer Vision, Speech Recognition, and Machine Learning 
⦁ Understand AI ethics, bias, and fairness to use technology responsibly

At the end of the course, students will make a capstone project which will be based on the learning and understanding from the course. iStart Valley will be awarding certificates to all participants.

Navya Nandi is a passionate technologist and educator with over 7 years of experience in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Python programming, and SaaS development. Her journey began in robotics, where she built intelligent systems and developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, innovation, and automation. Over the years, she has trained students from schools to colleges, designing engaging, project-based programs that make technology learning interactive and inspiring. Navya’s expertise includes Robotics, AI model development, computer vision, speech recognition, and OCR. She excels in simplifying complex technical concepts and inspiring curiosity in young innovators. She has also contributed to Quality Assurance (QA), ensuring exceptional software performance and user experience. She continues to explore emerging trends in AI, automation, and digital transformation. By combining her technical expertise with a passion for teaching, she is dedicated to empowering students to become the next generation of tech innovators.

Baishakhi Mukherjee is a technology leader with over 10 years of experience in digital transformation, customer experience, and strategic growth. She holds a degree in Computer Science from Vels University and an MBA. At global organizations like Amazon, she has led impactful technology initiatives focused on AI, Data Science, and data-driven decision-making. Baishakhi excels at aligning business strategy with innovative tech solutions to drive efficiency and growth. She is passionate about STEM education and mentors middle school students in Python and Artificial Intelligence. Her approachable teaching style helps simplify complex topics and inspires young minds to explore coding. Certified in Six Sigma, she brings a problem-solving mindset to everything she does, whether leading teams or shaping future innovators.
