Mahalakshmi Patchava

Senior Director

Mahalakshmi Patchava is a senior at Washington High School in Fremont, California. She serves as a Senior Director on the Innovation Committee of the Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC) and aspires to pursue a career in Computer Science, blending her entrepreneurial experience with her passion for technology. In spring 2024, she interned at iStart Valley, earning a Presidential Award. Her team's project, Clublify, was named a top startup and advanced to the global semi-finals. Mahalakshmi holds several leadership roles, including president of the MedLife Club, supporting rural communities in South America, and Fundraiser Lead for the American Cancer Society club. Passionate about coding, she has developed peer-focused tools like a college suggestion platform and an LLM chatbot, and conducts AI research in mental health. Alongside her AP courses, she enjoys playing the violin, photography, and architectural art.
