Sahana Venkatesh

Vice President

Sahana is a senior at Marvin Ridge High School in North Carolina, who is passionate about leadership, business, and innovation. Her love of the business field came from being a part of the largest club at her school, Future Business Leaders of America, which she now serves as the returning President for. In FBLA, she has earned numerous awards, including 4th Place Nationally in the Introduction to Business Presentation event and the State Champion for the Introduction to Social Media Strategies event. Her passion for business was only fueled through the iStart Valley internship, being a global startup finalist, earning the Presidential Gold Medal for her services, and now serving as Vice President of the Youth Executive Council. Sahana continues her business journey through these clubs, studying Business Management at the Higher Level through the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, and the DECA club, where she is a State Champion in the Buying and Merchandising Team Decision Making Event. Outside of the business field, she enjoys volunteering and tutoring her peers, along with exploring her artistic side through being a post-graduate student of Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance.
