Sushen Nandalike is a rising sophomore at Northgate High School with a strong passion for innovation, technology, and impact-driven entrepreneurship. As Co-Founder and CTO of Data Diggers, he led his team to victory in the 2025 iStart Valley Global Startup Battle, placing 1st among 100+ international teams and winning $1000 and numerous other resources to help the company grow. His startup supports small businesses by aggregating and customizing high-quality data for niche use cases. Through this work, he also earned global finalist recognition and the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award for 100+ hours of service. He began his STEM journey early, completing Kumon's math program at 11 and ranking 3rd in North America. At AI Camp, he helped develop a customer service training platform that reached the Top 6 teams globally. He also earned a Top 3 finish at the district-level Marathon Summer Robotics program. Outside of tech, Sushen is a dedicated musician and performer. As 1st chair alto saxophone in his school’s jazz band, he contributed to award-winning performances including 2nd place at the Campana Festival, 5th at Folsom, and 2nd in the state at the LPAA Jazz Band Competition. He also served as Captain of the JV Tennis team during his freshman year and maintains a perfect unweighted 4.0 GPA across middle school and high school. An avid Python programmer, he’s currently working on a passion project website that combines his interests in AI, data, and design. With long-term goals of launching a business that creates both value and impact, Sushen is excited to grow as a young innovator and contribute meaningfully through his role on the Youth Executive Committee. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing video games, tennis, and the saxophone, as well as spending time with friends and family.
