iStart Jax partners with StartupBus

StartupBus is an invitation-only community of hackers, hustlers and hipsters passionate about startups. Teams compete in an annual hackathon-style competition on buses traveling across America at 60 mph towards Austin in time for SxSW, where they will pitch to top-tier angels and VCs. The competition is intense, the constraints are challenging and the bonds forged are testament to the experience Buspreneurs share.

 

iStart Jax is pleased to partner with StartupBus. Director of iStart Jax, Sheena Koshy will be on the Startup Bus. Sheena will be also helping the Startups on the Startup Bus for the social media support.

 

Buses depart respective cities March 3rd and arrive in San Antonio, TX for a welcome reception hosted by Rackspace and then on to SXSW Austin, TX on the 8th.

Jacksonville Startup Weekend Top Ideas to be presented at Florida Venture Capital Conference 2013

Florida Venture Forum, Florida's oldest, largest and most prestigious statewide support group for venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, has invited the top ideas from Jacksonville Startup Weekend to present at their 2013 Florida Venture Capital Conference. The Jacksonville Startup Weekend, a highly anticipated event in the Northeast Florida region is being held January 25-27 at UNF. iStart Jax, Northeast Florida’s business accelerator is excited about bringing this opportunity to first coast entrepreneurs and innovators by leveraging its relationship with the Florida Venture Forum.
