D CEO, Nation's Top Regional Business Magazine has named finalists in its fourth annual Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards, presented in partnership with the Communities Foundation of Texas and sponsored by Capital One. According to D CEO Magazine, this year’s program attracted more than 500 nominations. After several judging sessions, a total of 81 Non Profits were named under various category.

iStart Valley was named as a finalist for the outstanding innovation. This award is to recognize the organization that applies innovative strategies to maximize improvements or impact in the community. A nonprofit that is putting forth new ideas or strategies that relate to the organization’s operations and execution of its mission. iStart Valley has focused steadily on innovative and creative ways implement its accelerator programs and operations to make impacts across the spectrum from kids in Middle School to Corporate Employees, aspiring entrepreneurs. In its unique and strategic approach iStart Valley is helping Innovators and creators to be successful in their entrepreneurial journey, create new generation of Innovators and get the Workforce ready for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

D CEO and Communities Foundation of Texas honored the organizations in the nonprofit world that continue to make a positive impact on the community, often under difficult financial constraints at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, Texas, on Wednesday, July 28. MJ Charmani, Founder and Chair of iStart Valley received the award on behalf of the extraordinary high performing team at iStart Valley.
